Architecture Inspired by Functionalism and the Exotic
The Bella Vista residence comprises two buildings characterized by playful, non-uniform balconies and terraces of various sizes and locations. The architects Jan and Jakub Klaška from the SYNC Architecture studio based the design on both Czech and African elements, which is shown by the results of their work with windows and the shaping of the balconies, a reference to the tradition of working with ornament in traditional African cultures: These geometrical patterns are also used in the pavements between the buildings.

The interiors of the Residence Bella Vista are functional and simple, but rich in fine detail. The FormaFatal studio handled the concept for the interior design; it has won a number of prestigious awards, such as Interior Designer of the Year 2020 and the international Dezeen Awards 2020, as well as the Architizer Awards 2020.
